We are so often taught that we need to affect the external world to change things.  As Jelaila Starr points out so well, our internal work is vital-not just to us but to the collective, as well.  As we clear and release our own fears, anger, sadness, judgment, blame, etc., we free ourselves and assist in the earth’s ascension and humanity’s growth process.  Wow!  It’s hard to think we are small and insignificant when we consider this.

We are in the midst of an important part of the current shift of consciousness.  One blog I read compared the period from December 21, 2012 to the equinox on September 22, 2013 as a 9 month gestation and birthing period.  Who knows what the energy of the equinox will do to move us forward.  Let’s enjoy finding out together!!

My dear and beloved children,

Oh, how my heart longs for you to feel and experience the excitement of this birthing time.  I want so much for you to know for sure that the Goddess is rising and you with her.

The shackles and chains that held humans and the earth in slavery and limitation are dissolved!  They no longer exist!  I know it is hard to believe this when you look around and see domination, control and problems galore.  Please believe this, my darlings.  You are free indeed!  Right now, this very moment, you can choose what to believe and how to live.

Change always begins in the Unseen realm.  It begins in the energy fields, in your thoughts and dreams, in the Creator’s loving heart.  Then, the change moves into the dense, physical world.

Don’t be dismayed by the problems you see around you.  The institutions and corrupt leaders of the world may appear to be strong and unstoppable.  But they are most definitely not!  Anything that does not serve the highest good for humanity and the universe is crumbling and soon will be no more.  YOU are an important part of the process as you find your voice and step into your power.

Quiet your mind and go within, to that core of your being where truth dwells.  Here you will sense and know that all is well, held in Divine love and care.  The earth’s vibrations, and indeed that of All That Is, are faster and higher than ever before.  Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, that is not of this higher, light frequency will be able to exist for long.

Instead of focusing on what is ‘wrong’ in others or institutions outside of you, focus on your own inner world and vibration.  Your role is to clear your own denser internal vibrations and emotions.  Then you can experience the joy, excitement and incredible love that is available to you now and forevermore.

All that is not love, joy, peace and harmony will fade from view.  You will know with unshakable certainty that you are safe, protected and free.  Rest in the arms of the Divine and feel the heartbeat of your partners in the Unseen Realm.  Breathe the breath of life with me and you will find joy without end.

The quote above is something that Nancy Joy shared in one of her recent Reflections messages. I strongly encourage you to listen to the entire message from Ezekial on her website. It beautifully captures what is happening right now-the cleansing and releasing and creating that is going on.

I loved that she talked about the ‘powers that were’ rather than what we typically hear which is ‘the powers that be’. What a great thought in these Turning Times. The world around us may look much the same as it has in the past. But things are changing, first in the Unseen realm and then moving into the Seen realm.

I tried to think of an analogy that made sense to me as I try to integrate what is happening right now. What came to my mind is the concept of ‘lame duck’, as we see with elected officials. When someone has been voted out of office or chooses not to run again, he or she often remains in office for a short time, before the newly elected person takes over.

What if we are living in a ‘lame duck’ world right now? What if the power has shifted but just not completely replaced the current structures and institutions and people who have been in charge for so long?

I believe that the answers to these questions lie within our own hearts. Our rational mind and egos may argue that there is much to fear and stress about. But our hearts know that we are held in a loving embrace by the Divine Spirit which is love, only love, always love, love overflowing.

We have lots of help but we all need to do our part. We are shedding that which no longer serves us and co-creating new ways to be. We need to re-claim our power that we have given away to other people, government, institutions and outdated beliefs. As we do so, we find what we have been searching and longing for-peace, joy, love and the beauty of community.

Beloved ones,

Indeed there is much to celebrate at this time of transformation and ascension. But it depends on your perspective. If you are mired in the muck of the collapse of the old ways, things can seem dark and disturbing. However, if you can rise above the fray, you can see the beauty of what is emerging. Think about fire-it can seem destructive and yet it creates the conditions for new life. Energy/matter is not destroyed, it simply changes form.

Once again I say to you, go within your heart. Come close to my heart. Together we can sense and feel the love that surrounds everything at all times. Quiet your minds and breathe in the peaceful energy that is available each moment. Know deep inside that all is well, held in Divine care. All that you need will be provided as you open your hands and your hearts to receive it.

DNA and human life as we know it is a galactic template, written into the basic energy of the Cosmos itself on a Quantum level. Ultimately, human life is energetic rather than biological.  The biological is only one phase of our evolutionary curve as souls.

It has been quite a while since I’ve written a message.  I hurt my back and have been dealing with the physical part of this, as well as a lot of emotional and spiritual things that came up with it.  It’s been intense, to say the least.  I am so grateful to my husband Blair who has been so loving, supportive and wonderful through it all.  I also had much needed support from family and friends, for which I am deeply grateful.

I am starting to get some perspective, something that is often hard to do when you are in the midst of a pain and a difficult time.  One thing I realized is that I need to take better care of myself physically.  My body has tended to be healthy and I have taken it for granted.  It reminds me that self-care includes taking care of our bodies which are pretty amazing creations.

The physical pain stirred up some old issues that needed to be looked at and cleared.  I have done so much of that over my adult life.  Even though I know I am free, happier and more peaceful when that stuff is cleared, I still resist because it is painful.  Needed tears have flowed and old messages and memories have been released and cleansed away, replaced by deeper knowing of how much I am loved and cared for by God and all of his spirit gang.

One thing that I had not realized was how I was carrying burdens of guilt for how people have damaged and hurt the earth.  Despite the constant messages of love from Gaia which never contain guilt or blame, I can see that I was judging and condemning myself for what has been done.  I got a clear message to stop this and focus totally on what is being done to restore the earth and what we continue to do.  Looking back with regret and guilt helps nothing.  It robs our joy and blocks the path to a bright future.  It also reflects lack of trust that there is a Divine plan to restore the earth to health, with our help plus we have lots of help from the Unseen Realm.

I still have a lot to understand and integrate from this experience but clarity is coming.  I am profoundly grateful for that.  I would be deeply grateful for any healing you send my way.

My dear and beloved children,

How deeply fear, guilt, regret and self-judgment and blame are ingrained into the human experience.  It includes self-judgment, as well as judging and blaming others.

Know this, dear ones.  You, and you alone, create these things.  Those in the Divine realm are love, only love, always love, love overflowing.  That’s it-just love!  Nothing else!  Now is the time to more fully recognize this so those old beliefs can be transformed into ones that reflect the truth which is that humans and all of creation are loved beyond measure.

Any ‘mistakes’ or ‘sins’ are simply lessons to be learned, not things to be punished for. Does a parent scold a child when they break something or fall down?  I hope not!  It is simply an opportunity to learn about the world, see the choices that can be made and gain wisdom about how to make the most life-enhancing choice possible. 

Another part of this is learning about the consequences of various choices.  The earth is now filled with visible evidence of what happens when humans exploit the earth, rather than treating it with love and wisdom.  Other choices are being presented and it warms the heart of the Divine to see how people are responding.  It is so beautiful.  The earth benefits when people treat her with respect and gratitude.  And people benefit so much when they develop a relationship with the earth that creates beauty and connection.

I love you, darlings.  Let’s wash away the things of the past that no longer serve us and joyfully co-create a bright and beautiful today…and tomorrow!

As I look around me (and in the mirror!), I see this happening everywhere.  People are feeling the shifts and realizing that it’s time to change, to morph, to fly.  Caterpillars do this naturally and instinctively, they follow an inborn process of transformation.

As humans, we are doing this consciously.  There is certainly a pattern that we feel inside of us.  Yet we, unlike other critters, have free will.  We have to choose to change.  We have the option to resist and refuse.  As ‘A Course in Miracles’ says, ‘some people would rather die than change their minds’.

I am unspeakably grateful to have so many people in my life who are willing to step into the unknown and find their wings, realizing that we can fly.  As the summer solstice approaches, the energy of transformation is getting stronger.  It feels to me like our wings are ready.  Yet like baby birds, we have to flap them and take a tumble or two as we learn to fly.

I feel the Universe, our Divine Source, supporting us with an updraft that will carry us to new heights, new ways of living and being.  Let’s fly!

My darling co-creators,

Yes!  Indeed this is the Turning Time, the time when a critical mass of humanity is waking up, remembering and transforming.  The veils between dimensions has dissolved.  The final step is to become aware of this, to accept it, to step into the New.  Some have already done this, they are already living in the New Paradigm.  They have shed the old skin of the third dimension and are flying freely in the higher vibrating frequencies.

Don’t be afraid, dear ones.  You are fully supported in this new life stage.  It is simply a step along the path to your divinity.  More and more, you will sense the presence of your partners in the Unseen realm who are beside you each moment, loving you and cheering for you.

The way has not been easy for you.  You have had to leave much behind you so you could exist in the lighter, faster vibrations.  Yet all you need is with you and within you.  There is a Oneness to all life and nothing that is needed for your highest good will be left behind.  As you walk the path of Unity and sacred connection, your needs will be met in beautiful and expansive ways.

Reaching this space of freedom has not been easy.  The process of clearing old patterns, internal messages and beliefs has been difficult at times.  Yet this is necessary, for how can you fly if you are weighed down with this old baggage?

Affirm yourselves for all that you have done and all that you have accomplished.  Love yourselves as much as your Divine Mother and Divine Father do!  Embrace your beauty, your perfection and your true essence which is love, only love, always love, love overflowing.

Your flight into freedom is now!  Feel your wings ready to carry you to magnificent spaces and places.  Let’s soar into dimensions that have always existed but are now visible and available to you.  I rejoice as we enter the New together.

Anything we do during this time that is not aligned with Unity Consciousness will not feel good.

This quote is so simple yet so wise.  And it feels especially applicable right now.  I remember several years ago when Nancy Joy said that things that had been hidden would be revealed.  I see that happening today in so many ways.  Some things feel very good and others definitely do not.

The old needs to be cleared away to make space for new energy and new ways of living and being.  Many people are angry and fearful as they feel the old ways coming into the light and being questioned and dissolved.  It can be disconcerting and stressful to see institutions and those we trusted being exposed in dishonesty and deception or just not working anymore.

What is perhaps even more uncomfortable is the mirror that these circumstances offer to us.  It’s an opportunity to look inside and see what no longer serves us and is not aligned with our values.  Old patterns and beliefs need to be looked at and cleared or updated.  The process can be challenging.  Jim Self of Mastering Alchemy says it’s important to not grab onto things while they are being released.  Just let things come to the surface and let them go.

I saw a quote on Facebook about what we are currently experiencing by Sarah Otis.  She says, “It’s similar to rebooting a computer. You need to shut down for a brief period of time in order to load the sophisticated new software, or in this case, the new Christ-seed energy.”

Self-care is so important.  Yet that can be challenging, as well.  Our culture has trained us to be busy, productive and action-oriented.  Taking time to slow down, be quiet and rest can be difficult to do.  We need to listen to our inner guidance and gently care for ourselves with love and patience.  We can remind ourselves that this is a stage in the process and good things are here now and more await us as we move forward.

Indeed this is a transition time.  Think of it as a house cleaning, so to speak.  First you take everything out of the closets and drawers and shelves.  Things look messy and chaotic.  It takes some time to sort through it all, deciding what to keep and what to clear away.  But after the process is complete, things feel better.  There is freedom in keeping only what serves your highest good and releasing the rest.

Much clearing is happening inside you, as well as around you in the larger world.  You have your part to play but much is being done by others and your Helpers in the Unseen realm.  When you feel anxious, take time to find the peaceful core of your being.  You will know that all is well, held in Divine love and care.

Breathe the breath of life with me in calmness and trust.  You are loved beyond measure.  Rest in that knowing and lean against the heart of the Divine.  Feel my arms around you, holding you securely.  You will find a smile and a happy sigh.

Do you remember the last scene in the movie Jumanji, when all of the animals go back into the game? I am seeing something similar to that happening and when it begins, it will unravel rapidly and we won’t have to do anything, other than being in our power, grounded in our intention for the reality we want for ourselves. We cannot afford to throw our energy at anything that doesn’t serve our intention for joy now. We must stay very clear because there is both a contraction and an expansion happening now and we have to be on the expansion side.

I haven’t seen the movie Jumanji but nonetheless this entry on Jennifer Hoffman’s facebook today resonated with me.  I am feeling a huge shift right now as we integrate the recent eclipses, solar flares, what’s been happening on the earth and much more.

My wonderful husband Blair organized a last minute ‘March Against Monsanto’ in Iowa City yesterday and being a part of this international movement was awesome.  For me, it helped to shake loose old feelings of bondage and open up space for freedom and expanded possibilities.  Millions of people around the globe participated in this call for governments and corporations to serve the people rather than the opposite occurring as is so often the case right now.

I think the biggest issue is people stepping into their power.  It has always been there but we have given it away.  Others have been only too happy to take control and dictate our choices.  It is indeed time to take the hands of our friends and partners in the Seen and Unseen realms and spread peace, joy and abundance for all throughout the earth!!!

Truly, NOW is the time for you to reclaim your birthright as the powerful co-creators that you are!!  You possess strength, wisdom and power beyond your ability to imagine.  Yet you have been lulled into a false sense of victimhood and passive powerlessness.

Listen to the message of the Divine!  It is this:  WAKE UP!  Corporations can sell you poisoned,  adulterated food.  But you don’t have to buy it!  You don’t have to eat it!  No corporation can stay in business if no one buys their product.  YOU have the power!  Claim it!!  Pull it out from the deep places of your being!  You will find that you are powerful beyond measure.  Connected to the Divine Source, you can do all things.  No limits!

There is absolutely no need to wait for anything to happen.  You make it happen.  The earth offers you healthy, wholesome food.  It offers pure water and clean air.  Your role is to stop the pollution that fouls your earth home and to make life-giving choices.  These choices are available now, this very moment.  Just reach out with your hands and your hearts.  You will receive gifts and treasures to delight you and satisfy your souls.

I love you, my darlings.  Hold my hand and stay close to my heart as we welcome the New Earth energy that is emerging in its beauty and perfection.

For those who were hopeful that 12-12-12 and 12-21-12 would bring instant transformation, I think most would say that it hasn’t happened, at least on the surface.  Some could cynically say, see, I knew that nothing would change.  It may even feel like things are getting worse instead of better.

It may be that the injustices, corruption and other problems are becoming more visible.  That can be hard to see and accept-who wouldn’t prefer to see hungry people with plenty eat, peace rather than war and the earth restored to health?

When I become discouraged, and at times I do, I am reminded to see the movement, the awakenings, the gifts in the present circumstances.  I remember that I need to love all of it, even when it’s just plain hard and I’d rather complain.  That includes loving myself, even when I am grouchy or not the cheerful, optimistic person that I want to be.  I find that when I accept what I am feeling, rather than arguing or being self-critical, I move to a better place more quickly and smoothly.

Deep inside, I do feel a new day dawning…most of the time.  I feel shifts, even when the news of the day is depressing and gloomy.  I see changes, despite the ample evidence of resistance to needed change.  As always, it’s our choice about what to focus on and what we can do to be light.  I am grateful to each of you for sharing the journey and being a source of encouragement just by being you.  Thank you!

Beloved ones, dear to my heart of love,

I know that when you want to wake up and see the sunshine, it’s hard to see the clouds covering the sun.  Yet, the sun is there, shining brightly.  Soon the wind comes and moves the clouds so you can see the sun.

That’s the way it is with life.  Clouds of fear, distrust, anger and pain cover the goodness that abides in the hearts of every living creature.  When you look at others, what do you see?  Their goodness or the not-so-good?

At this Turning Time, it is even more important to put your attention on the beauty that lies within all of life.  Your smiles, your joy, your hopeful attitude does so much to lift up others who are burdened with cares and problems.

Remember that each of you is so incredibly important to my Mother heart.  Be gentle with yourselves, giving love and care to your needs.  You are not workhorses, judged by what you do.  You are children of the Most High.  You are co-creators, beloved of the stars and moon.  You are miraculous creations with gifts and beauty beyond measure.  I love you dearly, no matter what you do or what happens.

Again, I will remind you.  Spend quiet time each day, resting against my heart.  When you are worried or distressed, lean on me and my strength.  When you can’t see the path ahead or feel unsafe, know that my vision sees everything.  Believe that all is well, held in Divine love and care.  Breathe the breath of life with me, knowing that I love you tenderly and completely.

Look for the green shoots pushing up between the cracks of the hard cement.  Sense the peace that flows to you from an eternal Source.  See with your heart and not your eyes.  Know that you are loved, indeed you are love, love in abundance.

It feels like things are intensifying in the world.  Love and awakening are more evident.  Yet so are fear, grasping by those in power, dis-ease and a sense of things being shaken up, unsettled.

Contrasts are vivid.  Last spring in Iowa was unusually warm and the summer was extremely hot and dry.  This spring has been very chilly with lots of rain, cloudy days and flooding.  Is this perhaps a reflection of the need to be flexible and not make assumptions about what will happen next?  During times of uncertainty, we may want to grab onto something that seems stable.  Yet we need to keep our hands and hearts open, rather than expecting things to stay the same or be predictable.

I have been thinking about the world’s reaction when Jesus was born 2,000 years ago.  Most were unaware.  But those in power were very aware and threatened by their ideas of what they thought this would mean-someone wanting to take away their power.  They tried to kill Jesus when he was a baby but failed due to Divine protection.

Now the Christ Consciousness is rising on the earth.  Those in power are feeling threatened and once again want to get rid of this.  It’s a lot harder to weed out something that is so dispersed but there is ample evidence of their willingness to try.

It is easy to point fingers at those in ‘high places’ of power, such as governments, corporations, religions, and other institutions.  Yet we are all a part of this.  We are all part of systems that are ingrained with hierarchy, privilege and imbalances.  Individually and collectively, we are being challenged to live in harmony with the whole, to stay peaceful amidst chaos and choose love.  We are supported in so many ways, if we can get quiet and in touch with the love that surrounds us.

Dear ones, my beloved friends and co-creators,

Indeed the energy and vibration of change is growing stronger and, for many, discomfort and fear accompany this.  You are on a path of transformation and the unknown can be disconcerting.  All around you is evidence of those who are handling the changes in ways that make things more challenging and difficult.

Your job is to focus on yourself and what you can do.  Send love and prayers and healing energy to others but let go of the choices they make.  Hold your peaceful center in the midst of chaos and fear.  If you do that, you are making a huge difference, far beyond what is visible to human eyes.

Be a quiet pool of silence and peace.  Know deep within your being that you are surrounded by angels and loving spirit beings who are ready to assist you at any moment.  They need to be asked and then they respond in the twinkling of an eye.  Breathe the breath of life with me and all who love you in the Unseen realm.

All is well, despite problems that seem insurmountable.  Don’t be discouraged or distressed.  You are loved beyond measure.  Transitions can be challenging but keep your eyes on the beauty that is ever near and know that more is on the way.

Take my hands and each others hands.  Listen for guidance and it will come without limits.  Open your hands, your hearts, your eyes and all will become clear.  Know that we are moving into greater spaces of love.  You are surrounded by love, only love, always love, love overflowing.

We are all prisoners of current assumptions.

I think there is something inside of us that rebels against the idea that we are prisoners of anything.  Yet the quote is a thought-provoking reminder that we are limited by our beliefs.  Who knew it would be possible to build an airplane powered by the sun and fly it around the world?  The answer: someone who wasn’t limited by current thinking and who had the courage, determination and sense of adventure to try something new.

Who controls our beliefs?  We do!  So we can be free indeed.  However, we have been programmed by our culture, our families, our institutions and in so many other ways.  It’s truly a lifetime endeavor or sort through it all and find our own truth and freedom.

What do we believe is impossible?  What do we believe that we can’t do?  What are we willing to try?  How can we see the choices that are available to us, even when we feel trapped or controlled by circumstances?

As we examine our core beliefs, we can find the prison door which we created.  We can dissolve it and move into an expanded field of possibilities.  It may not be easy, as it will likely move us out of our comfort zone.  Yet with time, these new places will become part of our expanded comfort zone.

I believe that we are living at a time and in an energy field that supports our growth and freedom in ways that we can scarcely imagine.  We have wings!  Yet they cannot carry us anywhere unless we open them and take off.  It can be scary to head off into the unknown.  We need to be gentle and compassionate with ourselves and others as we navigate into the bright future ahead of us.

Dear ones, my beloved partners and friends,

Sit quietly for a moment and sense the peace that surrounds you, flowing from the depths of the earth and the heights of the heavens.  As you focus on this inner place of silence and wisdom, the noise and limitations of the world around you fade away.

This space of love is available to you each and every moment.  It can be challenging to find this place sometimes and to stay in it for extended periods of time.  But when you do, this space grows and expands.  You find that more and more of your time can be spent here.

Always, your friends and partners in the Unseen realm are with you.  We love you!  We are eager to support and help you each moment.  When you see a barrier or problem, ask for help!  We need to be asked and when you do, we offer our ideas, guidance and strength.  We love to help!  We aren’t stingy or reluctant.  We want to help you fly!!  Our breath will be the wind beneath your wings.  We cradle you in arms of love.

Breathe our love into your hearts.  You will find renewed enthusiasm and hope.  Truly, my darlings, the limits you feel imprisoning you are created by you.  You have the power to move beyond them.  It’s not always easy to release the bondage.  The first step is realizing that it’s always about choice and you are the one who chooses.

It can be intimidating and frightening to step into the unknown, to take risks without knowing what the result will be.  Be patient with yourself and take small steps until you have the confidence to walk and then run, dance and then fly.

Your friends in the Unseen realm are with you always and forever.  Close your eyes and you can see more than you now realize.  Feel our loving presence and call upon us whenever you want or need us.  We love you.

Many of us have spent years, perhaps decades, clearing and healing what I call ‘old crud’-pain, wounds and difficult memories from our past.  As we do so, life becomes less stressful and more joyful.  Now even more stuff is surfacing for some people.  Why?  We made it through the shift of 2012 and it may seem like now it’s time to fly.  Why is more stuff coming into our awareness?

We all know the saying, ‘as above, so below’.  I think this helps to explain what is happening.  We see the old crud swirling around everywhere in our world right now.  Things that have been hidden are coming to the surface-old patterns of corruption, greed, domination, fear and deception.  We see it in governments, churches, our economy and so many other places.  We gave our power to these institutions and expected them to take care of us.  Now we need to take our power back, knowing that we are so capable of taking care of ourselves, individually and collectively.

These macro events are our mirror, helping us to look inside for those last vestiges of things that need to be cleared internally.  The door to the 5^th dimension, higher vibrating ways of being, is wide open.  It is accessible and we are being welcomed to pass through the doorway.  But we can’t take our baggage and burdens with us.  We can’t vibrate at 5^th dimensional levels when we are carrying old wounds, pain, fears and patterns.  It’s time to clear them and we are receiving loving help everywhere we turn.  Having old wounds come into our awareness may not seem like good news but it is and things can clear so much faster in this higher vibrating space.  The pain, fear and sadness are transforming into abundant blessings.

Let’s find the balance of enjoying and celebrating the new opportunities, while doing the remaining task of clearing and healing what needs to be transmuted.  Ask for help and it will appear, either in human form or from our partners and helpers in the Unseen realm.  Be gentle with yourself.  This old stuff goes deep and we need to nurture and support ourselves as we navigate this turning time.

My darling and beloved co-creators,

Indeed the contrasts are vivid right now.  A new day is dawning and the bright light is beautiful.  But this bright light is also shining and illuminating the darkness that currently exists and showing things that need to be transformed.

This is a time of ‘both are true’.  You are being challenged to hold it all within your hearts and within your minds.  Your most important role at this time is to be the light!  Of course, your light is needed to shine throughout the world, providing a beacon of guidance and hope to all who see it.  But there are places inside of you that need this light, as well.  Now is the time to clear the last remnants of pain, woundedness and old, dysfunctional patterns and beliefs that exist inside of you.

Right now the world around you is a noisy, confusing and chaotic place.  People who have hidden their actions in dark corners are most uncomfortable to have things brought into the light.  They are thrashing about, looking for a place to hide and finding none.  They are frightened and disoriented and need a balance of compassion and accountability.

You must balance time in this noisy world with quiet time alone or with others who vibrate in this higher light.  Listen to your inner wisdom and you will be guided into paths of peacefulness and quiet contentment.

Never, ever hesitate to call upon helpers in the human and Divine realm.  Much is available to you if you but ask with an open heart and open hands.  You are loved beyond measure, my darlings.  The clouds are lifting, a fresh wind is blowing and the warm sun is rising to illuminate the beauty of the new earth that we are co-creating together.  Stay close to me and our Divine partners for we are strong.  It is easy to break one stick but impossible to break a bundle of sticks that are held together with hearts of love.

Snuggle close to my heart when you are weary or frightened.  Here you will find a home that you need never leave.
