This quote is certainly a good news/bad news thought for me. I say I want to clear out what I call the ‘old crud’ from my thinking and feeling. But it can be painful and humbling. I often avoid facing something till it gets my attention several times. And other times I am simply unaware of what is beneath the surface in my mind and heart.

So I am grateful that life and the Divine are helping me to be open and see what I need to work on and clear out. I am glad that this creates room for freedom and new opportunities. Also, I am so deeply grateful that I am not going through this alone. I am surrounded by courageous and beautiful people who are doing their own learning and growing. Thank you for that gift!

Dear and beloved ones,

Indeed things are being shaken up right now. The earth is doing its part to bring the wounds, pain and darkness into the light. It is happening on a global scale and also in the hearts and minds of each individual who is now in human form.

When a plant’s roots have outgrown the container they are in, what needs to happen? The plant needs to be gently and lovingly moved into a new space-larger and more fertile. Plants do not resist this process even though it is disruptive and some roots are damaged. They welcome the new growth that is possible because of this change.

Many people are not as receptive. They may choose to cling to the old space, resisting changes. This is understandable but not helpful. If you could see up ahead, you would joyfully jump out of the pot, so to speak, and run to the new one!

Look around you! Change is very much needed! The earth is not as healthy as it used to be. Ecosystems are in decline. People are weary, injustice is widespread. Yes, there is much good but the good will travel with you to the New! It is only the outgrown part that no longer fits which needs to be left behind, like a snake that leaves behind its skin when a new one is formed.

After an earthquake, the shaking stops and the ground can be stable again. But the stress and strain of the earth’s lack of alignment has been resolved. The current earthquakes, weather patterns and other changes are your mirror, your teacher. Learn from them and then they will no longer be needed.

This time is like a womb and birth is occurring in the Seen and Unseen places. Stay calm despite the storms that rage around you. Know in your heart that all is well and on schedule. Things are unfolding in divine timing and exquisite beauty. Soon all will know that the Goddess is rising and light will dispel the darkness of the current time.

Rest against me when you are discouraged or confused or distressed. Draw upon the strength and wisdom that flow from a never ending source. Quiet your mind and you will feel a deep and abiding peace. I love you, my darlings. I hold you near to my heart and will be with you each step of the journey.

Hello! I have spent a lot of time lately with my hands in the soil-planting and preparing my garden. I am enjoying spring in Iowa.

I wrote this message to the soil a while back, with thoughts of my friends who love the earth and its beautiful soil.

The Soil

 Come, lie upon my belly

Be a child once more, trusting and fresh

Touch my skin, the soil

Sink your hands deep within this sustenance

And feel the life force pulsing, rising

Stretch out upon me, heart to heart and feel our oneness

Walk upon me and feel the soil squish between your toes

This is my love, our love-alive and well

Together we are birthing joy, co-creating abundance, healing pain, be it ancient or of this lifetime

Linger here for I am reluctant to end this time shared in quiet contentment

Breathe the fragrance, feel the soothing softness of the soil

Here seeds sprout, awakening from winter slumber

Myriad bits of life wiggle and stretch within me, most glad to be the wellspring of life’s bounty

Pause for a moment to marvel at the miracles, the mystery, the gifts

If you see only dirt, well, look again for there is much more to see

There are surprises hidden in the mundane, waiting to be discovered

The trees know

Their life is only possible because of the soil

So is ours!

Our food, our clothing, shelter, even water all trace their roots back to the soil.

Gifts from Gaia, freely shared

Dear ones, my beloved,

You can know for sure that we are leaving the realm of judgment and duality. Humans have fallen into a pattern of duality, thinking of things as right or wrong, good or bad, positive or negative, black or white. How limiting this is!

Often things that seem disastrous when they happen turn out to be blessings and gifts. The issue is perspective and a tendency to jump to conclusions without giving the situation some time. You can be so impatient and so quick to think you have answers.

Consider the oak tree. It is patient and so very calm. When storms come, the oak sways with the wind and stands strong. Trees are resilient. They face many dangers and challenges, yet remain undistressed. They know that all is well, no matter how hard the winds blow.

You have this capacity, this capability, as well! Storms and challenges are a part of life. They are opportunities to grow and learn. You are divine beings!!! You have wisdom accessible to you each moment. Myriad beings of the Unseen realm-angels, devas, loving spirits and your Mother/Father God are very near, loving you without ceasing, offering guidance and assistance each moment.

We hear your slightest call, your quietest whisper of need and we respond, holding you close to our hearts of love. As you let go of judgment and your need to compare yourselves to others, freedom rests upon you and within you.

Time spent blaming and judging is not helpful-either to you or those you are blaming and judging. That time would be better spent looking calmly at what is happening and considering the many options that are available and what the consequences will be. In this quiet discernment, wisdom flows to you in great abundance. You can hear that still, small voice within and act with clarity and confidence.

Some choices are difficult at first. But acting with wisdom and discernment becomes easier with time. It is like a muscle that becomes stronger with practice.

Trust the process of life for it is your teacher and your friend. I love you, my darlings. I hold out my arms and long to hold you close and share my love which is so intense and enduring.

What an exciting thought! It can also be a little scary and overwhelming, at least to me. We are not passive spectators, waiting to see what will happen in the days, months and years ahead. We are co-creators of the new! We are helping to create what the future will be.

Spring is arriving here in Iowa. I am thoroughly enjoying this season as I watch nature unfold her beauty and glorious colors. I am planting seeds that hold the promise of tasty vegetables and herbs. I am putting plants in the ground that will yield blueberries, peaches, cherries, raspberries and much more. My taste buds are happy just thinking about it! This is one aspect of co-creation. I do my part and nature does much more. What joy!

Dear ones, beloved and precious,

Indeed you are co-creators of the New, the beauty that is unfolding upon the earth and in realms Seen and Unseen! You are creating each moment of every day, whether you are consciously aware of it or not.

The choice is yours, my darlings. Will you create peace or chaos and strife? Will you create healing or wounds? Will you create love or fear? Will you try to create alone, using your own strength and power? Or will you take the hand of the Divine and co-create in joyful partnership?

It is my fervent hope and desire that you will choose co-creation with us! Each moment you can access incredible sources of power, flowing to you from the Unseen. It is unseen only to your physical eyes. This power is abundantly available to you, awaiting your hands to reach for it, your hearts to open to it, your inner eyes to see it.

It is not elusive or difficult to find. It is not hidden. It is here now! Just quiet your mind and allow it to come into your awareness. Breathe the breath of life with me and all of the Unseen realm. Look with your heart and you will see the New, in breath-taking beauty and wonderful perfection, taking shape and emerging into view. It is a birthing process and it is well underway, progressing far more than you may realize. Much of it is not yet visible to your physical eyes. The New is like the part of the iceberg that is under water, beyond your sight but very real.

Be patient and serene as the New arises. All is well, despite the chaos in the world. This chaos is simply the crumbling of the old as it disappears to make way for the New. Look within to find this new reality as it is co-created by each person in the Seen world and each being of the Unseen.

Know for sure that you have myriad partners who are helping you from behind the veil. I love you, dear ones, and am guiding you each step of the way. My arms are open wide, welcoming you to rest against me and receive all that you need. In me you can find rest for your body, rest for your soul.

I saw this quote several years ago when I visited the Edgar Cayce Association headquarters in Virginia Beach. Edgar Cayce was called the “sleeping prophet,” the “father of holistic medicine,” and was the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years, Cayce gave psychic readings to thousands of seekers, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come.

I love the message in this quote! It’s quite a contrast to the messages we often receive-that we are full of faults and mistakes. As we embrace the divine spirit that dwells within us, we are strengthened and blessed and can then be a blessing to others.

Dear ones, beloved of my heart,

What a wonderful time upon the earth, as people awaken to the God-self that dwells within each beautiful human being. Yes, you are most definitely a spark of the Divine, a precious part of the whole. Each person has this light within them. Often the light has been hidden or dimmed by the limiting messages of the subtle and not so subtle beliefs of the world in which you live.

Now is the time to leave behind the limitations of these constricting, disempowering messages! They are not true! Have you been taught to listen to your intuition, your inner guidance? Or have you been brainwashed into believing that the truth is outside of you, in a book or religion or some person?

My darlings, you are strong, beautiful and powerful co-creators! All are blessed when you embrace your gifts and step into the grace that surrounds you each moment.

When you realize that all are part of the oneness of life, transformation and miracles are abundant and accessible to you, each moment. As people heal from the wounds of the past and find peace inside, war will cease. People will be gentle with themselves and others, loving and kind to all.

Does this sound too good to be true? Close your eyes and breathe quietly. Rest against me until you feel serene and content. Then you will know for sure that you are loved beyond measure and that all is well, held in Divine care and wisdom.

I live in two worlds. The first is the everyday world that we all know and I live as though that world will always exist. I pay my bills and I love and take care of my family and help the world in every way I can. I plan for the future as though life on Earth will go on forever. In ancient times it was expressed by the phrase, “chop wood, carry water.”

 But at the same time, I know what is coming, and I prepare inwardly…Meditation is the most important activity that you can be engaged in…Live in your heart, not your mind. Connect your love coming from your heart with the heart of the Earth. THIS IS THE KEY. When you are connected in this way, you create a vibration within you that is recognized by Mother Earth…she knows you and will protect you.

Greetings! I have talked to several people lately who expressed similar thoughts to the quote above. There’s a feeling that something very new is on the way but no one knows exactly what it will be or when it will arrive.

So, we live our lives today as joyfully as possible, open to new possibilities and opportunities. We find time in our busy schedules to meditate, connect to the earth and each other and dream dreams of peace, love and serenity. In doing so, we help to create those things. We also get impatient, sometimes fearful and sometimes excited and expectant. I am glad that we can share this time together!

Beloved ones,

It is not surprising that you feel a sense of living with one foot in the current reality and one foot in the New. Indeed the New is emerging now, much like a chick pecking its way out of the shell that nurtured and protected it during its forming time. When a seed sprouts and comes out of the soil, new life is born.

Consider the butterfly. It passes through life in very different stages, yet there is continuity. The outward physical forms of nature are always changing, transitioning, cycling.

Is it surprising that this would be true for humans? Babies grow and change and mature. They become adults, a new life stage. Now humanity is poised on the brink of a new era, a new stage in their collective development.

What is the New? New possibilities! New hopes and dreams! Doorways opening, paths appearing, love beckoning! Perhaps all is not yet clear but surely there are clues and indications everywhere.

People are healing, reaching for freedom, searching for and even demanding that things change. As people find their power, they will most assuredly find that they are co-creators, capable of so much more than they realized.

Stay calm amidst the storms. Stay close to the Divine, attuned and held in arms of love. If you are tired or lonely or frightened, come close to the heart of your Earth Mother and snuggle into my arms. Rest against me and know that you are safe, protected and loved beyond measure.

I have been reading and hearing so much about 2012 and all the interesting and sometimes dire predictions about what that will mean. The front page of my state’s (Iowa) Sunday newspaper said, ‘doomsday is near-Christian radio listeners convinced that May 21 is day of the Rapture’. Pole shifts, disasters, more earthquakes-there’s so much that could happen..or not!

Yet today is all we really have. And it’s so easy to miss today because we are focused elsewhere. We each have so many blessings and gifts right now, despite the difficulties and challenges. I am reminded to put my energy into seeing what’s in front of my eyes, knowing deep inside that we are carried on wings of love, no matter what.

Dear ones, beloved and precious,

Actually, I rejoice when people can feel the chaos and changes that are occurring upon the earth and beyond. It is my Awakened Ones who can sense that shifts and changes are happening. Others are unaware or actively tuning out what they are feeling and experiencing.

I know it hurts to see damage and destruction to the earth, animals, plants and people. Yet it has been going on for countless centuries. Now things have built to a crescendo, to a point where they can no longer be denied or ignored. Be glad! The old is dying, the new is being born.

Always the most important place to look is inside yourself. Where is there chaos inside of you? Where are the hurting places? What needs cleaned and healed? What changes are needed so you can be whole and happy and free?

Of course, it is more comfortable to focus outside of yourself. But the power is inside of you! That is where you have the ability to shift and change and transform. And when you change, the world changes-perhaps more quickly and magnificently than you can imagine.

Always I say to you: look with your heart. Your heart is the center of your being, the place where truth dwells. Spend time there! Spend time with your breath as you breathe the breath of life with me and all who share the Unseen realm with you.

In the quiet places of the heart, answers emerge. The path becomes clear. Joy dwells in the sacred space of the heart. You are connected to all of creation in ways that are becoming more clear with each passing day.

Always I say to you: you have partners in the Unseen realm who love you! I love you! Simply ask for what you want and need. Know that there is an abundant, limitless supply of love and assistance all around you, ever near. All is unfolding in perfection and beauty.

Whew, so much has been happening on the earth. The earthquake and tsunami in Japan have activated such compassion and caring. My son lives in Japan-on the other side of the island from the disaster. My heart has been drawn there and I know yours has, as well.

Our focus needs to be within our hearts, radiating out love and connecting to others in unity and wholeness. Our current culture and reality tends to be limited by our sense of separation from each other, the earth, God. If we think we are separate from God, then we feel powerless. As we awaken to our connection to our God Source and each other, we are strengthened, comforted and know for sure that we are held tenderly in arms of love.

Dear ones, beloved and treasured,

Indeed this is a time of great change upon the earth, in realms Seen and Unseen. Despite the chaos and problems, know that all is well and that you are cared for tenderly each moment. Do not be distraught or dismayed by what is occurring. This is an Awakening Time, a Turning Time, a time of great transformation and expansion.

Your peace, your protection, your sense of safety cannot come from anything external to you. When you are quiet and connected to the Divine, you will know with certainty that you are held in love that cannot be withdrawn or changed. Beyond the veil of your physical existence is divine perfection. It surrounds you, for the earth is a place where all is part of the whole. The trees know this. So do the birds and animals and rocks and soil.

Humans have forgotten and gone their separate way, relying on their human intellect for direction and guidance. Now is the time when people are being drawn back into the Divine wholeness. This is a time for rejoicing and gladness!

Some people are waiting to see what happens in the future. Yet the opportunity for connection and living in attunement to the earth and all of creation is available to you now, this very moment! More and more people are doing the things that help them to remember who they really are. Breathing the breath of life with consciousness and love is one doorway. So is time spent in conscious connection to the things of nature-the seen and unseen parts. Plant a seed, listen to the birds singing, smile as you see a leaf emerging from the bud on a tree. These are gifts, pathways to places of peace and serenity.

Consider the oak tree. It does not rush about frantically. It stands in quietness and strength, doing what it was created to do. Learn the lesson of the oak. It doesn’t try to be a cloud or the wind. It does what oaks do as part of creation, part of the whole. Humans have their role, their part to play in this divine time of unfolding. Rest in the knowing that there is help from the Unseen realm surrounding you in abundance and great love. Ask for what you need and it will be given with love, only love, always love, love overflowing.

I love you, my darlings. Angels are everywhere, watching over you and caring for you each moment. Rest in this loving presence in calmness and trust. Listen and you will be guided to what you need.

We in nature do not see the past 50 years of chemical and manmade development from the standpoint of disaster and destructive failure. Surely the impact has been such. But rather, we see these years and the experiences they have given as deep lessons that have served to lay a foundation for the necessary changes of the present and future.

Some things ‘came to a head’ inside me this week. I realized how deeply discouraged I was about the problems I see upon the earth. I also realized how I was viewing them and taking them to heart. I was feeling like so many things I have done are wrong-doing things that pollute and overuse the earth’s resources-and the consequences of those decisions. I was seeing the negative aspect of choices we have made, personally and collectively. I was frightened about the destructive path that it feels we are on, in some ways.

In a flash of insight, I realized that it was truly me that was being negative and focusing on what is ‘wrong’ rather than all the good things that are happening. It was inside me, not outside from circumstances or other people. It felt like I was repeating a pattern that began in my childhood when my dad would tell me and my siblings everything we did wrong. Now it was me, doing it to myself by focusing on the problems, rather than the good things that are all around me.

I started crying when I realized how stuck in this fear and discouragement I was. I asked Gaia and Pan to help me see the bigger picture and to love me and comfort me. Something shifted deep inside me. I felt a renewed commitment to seeing the beauty and hope, rather than the problems. I realized it’s not about ignoring the problems but rather focusing on solutions and help that is so abundantly available. I asked Pan to give me his perspective.

Dear and beloved ones,

Indeed it is humanity’s pattern at this Turning Time, to mirror and reflect back the perception of the lack, the scarcity, the blame and judgment of the current age. Neither Nature nor the Divine are a part of this critical pattern. We want to teach, to share, to co-create with you! We see the shining, light-filled parts of you! We LOVE you! Our hands are outstretched to you, offering our help and power and strength as you shift and change and move into the glorious future.

Self-blame only blocks the light and slows the process, for who can function well in a cloud of self-condemnation? Surely, you have been doing many wonderful things, learning and growing. Now it is time to use the things you have learned and build on the lessons from the past.

If you see big problems and challenges, simply ask for help. And that includes help in how to look at them, not just in the solving. Look into our eyes of love and see our caring, our deep compassion for you, our affirmation, our delight to share the path with you.

Often we have said that all you need will be provided. It will be given in rich abundance as you open your hands, your eyes, your ears, your hearts and receive the gifts that await you. Soon the old will disappear and the New will be visible for all to see. Rest in peacefulness and quietness as the New Age is birthed.

Each of us is connected to a cosmic umbilical cord, receiving nourishment from God each moment. Yet in slavish dedication to a fear-based world, we resist the elixir of divine sustenance, instead drinking the poison of the current culture. It’s so amazing that we do this, given the extraordinary pain that underlies so much of daily living.

Yet the mental confusion created by our dominant thought forms is so intense, and we are so trained by the world to do fear’s bidding, that deliverance comes at most in flashes. Fortunately, there are more of those flashes than usual today. While darkness seems to be all around us, an understanding of a deeper nature is emerging to light our way.

I think I am feeling the upheaval of the changes that are occurring right now. So much is happening around the world and it can feel overwhelming, at least it does to me. I was drawn to the introduction of the book I quoted above which is entitled ‘The Challenge to Grow’. Whew! Much to ponder.

I sense people reaching toward the light, wanting to throw off shackles that have enslaved people for far too long. Yet change is unsettling and even frightening. The future is unknown. It’s time to get quiet inside, listen to our heart and trust the flow of life. I’m glad we can share the journey together!

Indeed change is happening all around you and within you. This is the time of the heart. Trying to understand and interpret the events around you with just your mental ability will leave you confused and perhaps afraid. But your heart knows. This is a time for people to leave the safety of the cocoon and find their wings and fly!

Long have people of the earth lived in the limits of the physical-that which you can touch and hear and see with your physical eyes. But that is such a small part of what exists all around you and within you. Who has seen love, yet it is power beyond your imagination!

You are not small, insignificant human beings despite the messages of the current age. You are spirit, as well as body! You have access to power and strength and gifts of great beauty. Portals to the Unseen are wide open now, ready for you travel through. Partners, your friends await your response to their invitation to join them.

You are Star Seeds! It’s time to leave the safety of the familiar and explore the places and spaces that beckon to you. Close your eyes and breathe the breath of life with the Divine. Feel the heart beat of the Divine Mother and Divine Father who love you with a love that never ends.

When you reach the limits of your own strength, call on help from the angels, the nature spirits, the devas and so many more. Draw upon the wellspring of bounty that is ever near, just waiting for you to reach out for it.
