I have been reading the book “Earthing: The Most Important Health Discovery Ever?” and it provides much food for thought.  The primary message is that our bodies need to be connected to the earth on a daily basis, actually touching the earth.  Why?  Because our bodies need the electromagnetic energy that flows into us from the earth.  Without this connection, our bodies do not have the healing energy they need to function at their prime and heal diseases and health problems.

I have been thinking about how I spent my childhood going barefoot from spring through fall.  My feet got so tough that I could walk on gravel without pain.  It was so simple and such a natural part of life.  Yet, now I am like most people in developed countries.  I wear shoes almost all the time.  I spend much of my time indoors.  I sleep on a bed, rather than the ground like many people still do in ‘primitive’ cultures.  I am not touching the earth most of the time.

Just thinking about this is motivating me to spend more time in contact with the earth.  Sure, some if it is about the health benefits.  But part of it is about the blessing of being intimately connected to our beautiful earth.

The Soil

Come, lie upon my belly.

Be a child once more, trusting and fresh.

Touch my skin, the soil.

Sink your hands deep within this sustenance,

And feel the life force pulsing, rising.

Stretch out upon me, heart to heart and feel our oneness.

This is my love, our love-alive and well.

Together we are birthing joy, co-creating abundance, healing pain, be it ancient or of this lifetime.

Linger here for I am reluctant to end this time shared in quiet contentment.

Breathe the fragrance, feel the soothing softness of the soil.

Here seeds sprout, awakening from winter slumber.

Myriad bits of life wiggle and stretch within me, most glad to be the wellspring of life’s bounty.

Pause for a moment to marvel at the miracles, the mystery, the gifts.

If you see only dirt, well, look again for there is much more to see.

There are surprises hidden in the mundane, waiting to be discovered.

The trees know.

Their life is only possible because of the soil.

So is ours!

Our food, our clothing, shelter, even water all trace their roots back to the soil.

Gifts from Gaia, freely shared.

Let our hearts sing with gratitude for this grace.

Linger often in a garden, a yard, a forest.

Hear this Mother whispering love, eager to share love, love overflowing.

Breathe it into your heart where nothing can threaten or disturb it.

At times the soil’s touch may not be near,

But your Earth Mother’s love is always and forever near.

The soil is but one reminder among many.

What if the key to manifesting anything was to realize that it is already in front of us and then opening our physical eyes widely enough to see it?  I believe that we connect to something energetically and then we see it, not the other way around. We’re so accustomed to believing that it is there when we see it and now we have to shift our thinking to create the belief first, so we can see. The process moves from the energetic realm to the physical, not the other way around. This is part of our new multi-dimensional paradigm. ‘Seeing is believing’ is a past-based reality; believing so we can see it is intentional manifestation.

I have been pondering on this ever since I read it last week.  It helps me realize that it’s more important than ever to be mindful of what we are creating in our thoughts.  And it’s exciting when what we are thinking about appears, at least when it’s something we want!  Often it’s effortless and we just need to notice what happens.

I have been feeling energized and enthusiastic lately and I’m not really sure why.  I think I am feeling the new energy pouring into the earth and into our lives.  Let’s welcome it and be bathed in its beauty!

Dear ones, my beloved,

How I rejoice when my loved ones-which are all of you-sense that things are changing and that wonderful things are miraculously appearing in your lives.  Miracles are not unusual.  They are a natural part of life.  You merely need to claim them.

Old patterns and beliefs are what block your ability to manifest what you think about.  Old fears and doubts are like curtains that block the light that can come in a window.  Lack of light is certainly not the issue.  It’s lack of vision, for who can see in the dark…unless you see with your heart rather than your physical eyes.

At this transforming time in the history of humanity, it is extremely important to be attentive to your thoughts, your feelings and what you put your attention on.  It is time to throw off the old message that you are not important, that you are small and insignificant.  You are co-creators with those of the Unseen realm. Yes!  You have power and strength and gifts that you are not fully aware of.

Now is the time to open your hearts, your eyes, your hands and receive all that the Divine is longing to share with you!  As you learn and grow and mature, you are preparing yourselves for a future that is full of light and beauty.  Indeed, the time is now.  There is no need to wait any longer.  It is yours the moment you are able to reach out to receive.

Rest against my heart when you are weary or uncertain.  My wisdom is ever available to you.  My love flows to you each moment, with each breath of life that we share, with each beat of our hearts that are attuned to the rhythms of the earth and the heavenly spheres.  All is well.  You are loved beyond measure.

I think that all of us are feeling the shifts of 2012.  It’s sometimes hard to believe that we are nearly ¾ of the way through the year.  For me, a big part of this year has been identifying and clearing out old messages, habits and patterns that no longer serve me.

It’s been a good process but not always easy.  Yet, I feel more peaceful and calm as I clear and cleanse.  It creates more room for the things I want in my life.  I have more to do, of course, but it’s good to feel the progress.  There certainly seems to be a lot of clearing going on in the world right now.  Let’s set our intention that it helps to guide us all back to Unity and Oneness.

Dear ones, my beloved,

Ah, the ‘fur is flying’, is it not?  People are feeling the energy changing, the vibrations intensifying, the need to be love growing.  Indeed, my darlings, you can know for sure that the Goddess is rising.

You are my Light Bearers. I need you to shine your light upon the path and lead the way for others who are wanting to find their way home to the Heart of God.  There is room for all and why wait when this space of love is ready to welcome you in its beauty and peace.

Much has already been accomplished in this journey.  Many people are waking up to their true nature which is perfection and abundance.  Lack, scarcity, fear and aloneness are illusions, created as you sought to assert your independence.  Yet your partners in the Unseen realm have never abandoned you.  We are always with you and rejoice that now you are ready to join us in glad co-creation.

The fog and clouds are lifting and miracles are very near, readily accessible to you if your eyes, your hands and your hearts are open to see and receive them.  Just quiet your minds, rest in the silence of Divine love and breathe the breath of life with us.  At any moment you can rest contentedly in my arms of love.  You need never leave this all-encompassing compassion and caring.

I know that your current experiences can be uncomfortable at times but they are necessary for your growth and learning.  Know that everything is unfolding with Divine timing.  All that you need will be provided.  All is well, dear ones.

As the dense vibrations are cleared from the earth, a new day is dawning.  Darkness is just the lack of light and a river of light and love is flowing to you.  Simply open yourselves to receive it and it is yours, now and always.

Today we face a choice between temporarily shoring up the old world…or stepping into the new. Money is so fundamental, so defining of our civilization, that it would be naïve to hope for any authentic civilizational shift that did not involve a fundamental shift in money, as well.

A dear friend of mine has been talking about this book and the transformational ideas that it promotes. I admit that anything with the word ‘economics’ in it is not very appealing to me. Yet I felt drawn to read this book when my husband bought a copy. It has had a profound effect on my thinking.

We can see that our current system of money and economics is not working. Scarcity, inequity, poverty, exploitation and the deadening effect of people working in jobs that stifle their spirits are just some of the consequences.

‘Sacred Economics’ shares a vision of a new economy, built on sharing, protection of the earth and respect for people. If this sounds like a fairy tale, the author assures us it is not. Our current monetary and economic system was built at a level of consciousness that is being transformed. Surely, our awakening is calling for our world to become new, along with us. This book gives practical, sensible ways that we can live in a new monetary system and begin now to create it now. Many changes are already underway and more are coming. We have a choice to either resist the changes or to embrace them and assist in the dawning of a new way of living.

Dear ones, beloved of my heart,

Look around you. Look not just with your eyes, but with your heart, as well. Surely, the need for change is abundantly evident. You see the old ways crumbling, yet many are unsure about what the New will be.

No one and no thing is separate from anyone or anything else. All is joined in a Oneness that cannot be divided or apart from the Whole. Change is needed individually and collectively.

The first step is to become aware, recognizing the need for change. I smile as I see this happening upon the earth. People are weary of the burden of living in a system that elevates some and impoverishes others. Do you feel discouraged, unsure about how to make the changes that will create abundance for all?

Look to nature for the templates and examples. Nature creates abundance with ease. Nature is generous and gives gifts each moment. Are you breathing? The air is a gift, given without price. Do you eat food? It is from the earth, given as a gift of the plants and animals. Water is given in the same way. So are the materials for your homes and buildings and all else

All of life is a gift from the sun, the stars, the whole universe. You are a precious part of it, my darlings. Within you is the knowledge and wisdom to make all things new. As you embrace your divinity, you will choose only things that are life-giving and benefit yourself and the Whole. Listen to your inner voice. Ask for what you need. It will be given with joy and gladness.

Come close to my heart. Quiet the noisy voices and sounds of your world. In this silence, wisdom dwells. It will guide you, if you allow it to. You have partners in the Unseen realm who are waiting in eager anticipation to co-create heaven on earth with you. Take our hands and we can do it together with happy hearts and exuberant dancing.

I have the strong feeling that we are very close to the end of a significant portion of our ascension path.

I feel like I am catching my breath after a few weeks and months of big changes in my life. I recently joined my life with my sweetheart Blair, moved to a different house with him and celebrated our marriage with family and friends yesterday at a beautiful gathering of people I love dearly. I am joyful about so many things. Yet it takes time to process and adjust and absorb all of the changes.

Perhaps because of all the transitions I am experiencing, I feel the Shift in Consciousness so intensely right now. The changes in my personal life seem like a microcosm of the larger shifts and changes that are going on throughout the earth and beyond.

I can’t know for sure what Jennifer Hoffman means in her quote, I just know it resonated with me deeply. I think we sense that that much is shifting and unfolding. Yet no one is exactly what the New will be as we co-create and welcome it into our lives. Sometimes I feel like I am stretching and stretching more to even begin to let the love and other gifts flow to me. I am so incredibly grateful to have you to share the path with. Thank you!

Indeed the Shift of the Ages is well underway. Much is being cleansed and purged in your individual lives, as well as in the Oneness that all share. Hold fast to your faith that the spaces emptied by this cleansing tide are being filled with blessings and delights. Those of you who are the Forerunners are already being transformed in the deep places of your being and, in the process, you are transforming the very essence of the energy that encompasses all that is.

Yes, my darlings, you are partners of those who exist in the Unseen realm! Together we are making all things new. Much cannot yet be seen by your physical eyes. But you can feel it in your hearts when your minds are quiet and your spirits are at rest.

It is important to take time for silence, to listen to the whispers of the Divine. In those silent spaces of peaceful communion, you are connected to Divine wisdom and power. All you need will be provided in perfect timing and beautiful abundance. Be open to the flow, trusting that each step is guided by the hand of the Unseen. You are loved beyond measure, dear ones.

Each of you has your own unique path, your part in this Turning Time. Your friends and partners in the spirit realm are rejoicing as they dance beside you as we move into a bright future. Don’t be dismayed by the chaos of the dismantling of the things that have outlived their usefulness. Anything that does not serve the highest good of all will be composted and will become the building material of new creations that are based in love, peace and unending joy.

If you are tired or frightened or just need love and understanding, come into my arms and rest against my heart. Breathe the breath of life with me until you know that all is well. Feel the love I offer freely and effortlessly.

It has been a long, hot summer. The Uranus/Pluto square has tested our abilities to shift from control to trust, to release dreams that have to re-evaluated in the present reality. It isn’t that they weren’t great dreams, valid dreams. I believe they were covered with angel dust. I’ve found it difficult to release the divine mist and to ground them in a world that requires limitation for stability and growth. I guess that is the essence of the Chiron/Neptune union. For me the challenge has been to realize that if my life were personal I could change it, control it. However, great numbers of us have chosen to bring in a new paradigm; lives of service for the collective, lives that are gifts to Source. When we come to that realization, we discover ease. We shift from control mode to allow. That I believe is the foundation of the shift of the age. It is allowing ourselves to simply fall into the loving embrace of the Divine Mother. Well, yes, one still sweats while working in the heat. We could think of it as a continual baptism.

I have been feeling the challenges, not only of the drought in my part of the United States but in my personal path, as well. Yes, this is a challenging and sometimes difficult time for earth and throughout the cosmos. It is time to shift, to change, to leave behind the old and enter the New. You feel the endings deep in your being and it is not easy to release what has served you well.

What lies ahead is a mystery, an unknown territory. For those of you with wounds and memories of pain from times past it is hard to imagine the beauty that lies ahead, if you but trust and hold the hand of the Divine as you walk along.

Perhaps it is hard to believe that all is well, held safely in the hands and heart of the Divine Spirit that is the essence of all that is. This truth is planted in your heart and is eternal, unchanging. The physical world can mask or obscure this truth but it cannot change it.

The veil between dimensions is growing thinner and will soon disappear for those who are ready and willing. Your task is to be prepared, ready to embrace this new space. You are never alone. You are surrounded by Unseen partners and friends. You have loved ones in your lives who will go with you. The Divine Spirit, angels, nature spirits and so many more are with you always.

I absolutely love this quote in Nancy Joy Hefron’s weekly Reflections message. It feels like at this time in humanity’s journey we are being invited and even pushed to expand our thinking and find new ways to see and do things.

In the midwestern United States where I live, we are experiencing recording breaking hot temperature and drought conditions. Other parts of the country are having intense forest fires. Some places are having catastrophic floods. Nature is getting our attention in a variety of intense ways.

Certainly for many of us, human-created climate change is on our minds as we see these earth changes. How do we respond? In fear, guilt and hopelessness? Or do we respond with hope, a sense of our co-creative power and a willingness to ask for help from the Unseen realm?

A Course in Miracles says that there is no order of difficulty in miracles. The Divine is so big and powerful and abundant that things which seem huge or impossible to us are possible in the twinkling of an eye. We have our part to play, to be sure. It is co-creation and we need to take actions that we are guided to do. But we can rest in calm assurance that help is on the way the moment we ask.

Do the problems facing humanity sometimes feel overwhelming to you? Perhaps your own personal problems and issues feel overwhelming at times, as well. Know for sure that the tender eye of the Unseen is watching over you each moment, loving you and doing all for your highest good.

This is the Awakening Time, the Turning Time, the Shift of the Ages. I seek to assist in the awakening process and do it as gently as possible. Many of you are slow to embrace your strengths, your ability to change and manifest abundance. Indeed you are being pushed to move into more conscious living which includes examining all that you do and your motivations for doing so.

I realize that this is not a small thing! Humanity has been sleep-walking through much of life. You make choices without considering the consequences. You often believe that you are small, insignificant and powerless. This is not so! If humans can change the climate of the earth, what else can you do?? You also have massive power to make changes that will create abundance, blessings and a beautiful Heaven on Earth.

Help is available to you beyond your wildest imagination! It is available inside of you, flowing from a Source that is without end. You have partners, helpers and friends in the Unseen realm who are most happy to assist in miraculous ways, as you ask for their help. Together there is NOTHING that is impossible! Believe this and move forward with gladness, knowing that all is well and unfolding in Divine perfection. Open your hands, your eyes, your hearts and trust that together we are creating paradise.

Stop your ‘stinking thinking’. You are LOVED!

Over and over Jim Self of Mastering Alchemy says that we can’t take our baggage with us into what lies ahead. That’s good news! Why would we want to hang onto old beliefs and patterns if they keep us stuck in low vibrating thoughts and feelings?

But becoming aware of those beliefs and patterns and clearing them out is not necessarily fun. I certainly have my challenges as ‘old crud’ in my mind and heart rises to the surface to be cleansed and cleared.

This past week I became more aware of the guilt I am carrying for what humans have done to the earth-the damage and destruction. Recently, I found myself crying and saying, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry’. There it was and I needed to deal with it. I could hang onto these thoughts and feelings and continue to feel bad or I could ask for forgiveness, individually and collectively, and then move on, knowing that our Divine Source loves me, and all of us, and doesn’t want us to replay past choices and feel bad. This helps me make new choices that heal and restore the earth.

I first heard of ‘stinking thinking’ when I was in co-dependence recovery. It’s thoughts or beliefs that keep us stuck in negative thinking, self-blame, feeling miserable. Stinking thinking may seem justified, at times, but it doesn’t help anyone or anything. It’s simply a sign that we need to change. We are much more empowered to change when we are giving ourselves self-love and receiving love from our family, friends and partners in the Divine realm.

Let’s affirm ourselves for what we are doing well, our efforts to create a better world and the love in our hearts. Let’s clear the stinking thinking out of our lives and let the fragrance of a new earth put a smile on our faces! We will be motivated and empowered to grow and change.

Dear ones, my Beloveds,

Surely, it is important to acknowledge and recognize when changes need to be made. It is good to face choices that no longer serve the highest good of all. But no one in the Divine realm is asking you to condemn and criticize yourself for something that is now in the past. Simply use what you have learned to light the way to a new path.

Perhaps the most important message that I would share is to ask for help! Humans can do much to clean and clear the damage of past choices. But things go so much easier and so quickly when you ask for help! Pan, the Nature Spirits, the devas, your partners in the nature realm are strong and powerful. Please! Seek to be Co-creators rather than trying to do things on your own. Join the oneness that will restore the earth to health!

Love the water and it will respond to your energy of love. Love the air and it will delight in your care. Love the plants and animals and they will thrive. Honor the soil that gives life. Send thanks to the sun that is the source of your food and shelter. You will find a thousand gifts to be grateful for. There will be no time to focus on regret or sadness or perceived wrongs.

Come to the Divine Mother and the Divine Father as little children, with open hearts and open hands. You will receive blessings beyond your wildest imagination. Simply ask and see what will flow to you.

When I heard Nancy Joy say this in her weekly Reflections video, something inside of me shouted ‘YES’!!! We hear so much about the Shift in Consciousness that we are creating and participating in. It is exciting and such a welcome stage in our ‘earth school’ experience. We are going home.

But I want to BE home!!! We hear the term ‘homesick’ to describe our longing to be home. We are yearning to be home in the heart of God, to feel the all-encompassing I AM presence each moment and know the completeness and fullness of our place in it.

So let’s celebrate the summer solstice on June 20 and rejoice to know deep in our beings that home is indeed in sight! Let’s do the final clearing of all that separates us from this Divine perfection that is our birthright, our beautiful Heaven on Earth!!

Each of you is s spark of the Divine fire, a drop of the ocean that encompasses all, a breath of the air that is the essence of life and a glorious part of the Earth energy that flows without ceasing. You are love, indeed a vortex of power. You are moving, individually and collectively, through a time of transformation that is awakening you to your inner light.

The beauty of the sun reminds you to shine and radiate love wherever you go. The darkness reminds you of places within yourself that are waiting to be healed. The moon reminds you of the exquisite balance of the male and female.

These are such powerful times and we have been waiting so long for them. Yet, we are diluting their power when we spend time in regret, guilt, longing for others to change… As we accept others choices, we move forward on our own path with a peaceful heart and all of our energy intact to power the new life that we have to create for ourselves, our personal heaven on earth. And we’re going to need all of our energy to do that.

When I saw this, it really rang true for me. We are indeed in the midst of amazing times. It is natural, I suppose, to want to take our loved ones on the path with us. Yet each of us has our own path, our own timing. I wouldn’t want anyone trying to drag me along at their pace.

As we each move along in the way that is right for us, everyone benefits much more than when we try to control each other. Wouldn’t it be a bit arrogant to think that we are right and others are wrong in their choices? We can’t always see the big picture and how everything fits together. As we accept each person’s perfection, regardless of where they are in this ‘earth school’, everyone can enjoy the beauty of unconditional love and acceptance.

My beloved ones,

As always, my heart is radiating out love to each of you. My love is like the sun that shines each moment of every day. Sometimes it may be hidden by clouds. Sometimes, rain storms may get your attention and the sun may be forgotten for a little while. Or the earth may be turned away from the sun so it seems like it has vanished. Yet the sun shines!

So it is with love. Love is light and darkness can never, ever destroy or overshadow it. Each person is a ray of the sun. You are part of the Divine.

But life on earth has been difficult and people carry many wounds, often unseen but very much present. The wounds and pain and heartaches are like clouds that hide the sun. People may conclude that the sun has gone away, that light has been extinguished, that love does not exist.

Your purpose on earth is to heal the wounds, to transmute the pain, to unveil the heart from its shroud of darkness. Of course, you must begin with yourself. How can you help anyone else unless you are healed and whole? When you are healed and whole, you can be a bright light to shine on the path to show the way to others. But it is always their choice about whether to take steps and when. Each and every person is guided by the Divine. Don’t get in the way! Trust yourself and each other to move forward in perfect timing.

Those other people are like mirrors, showing you the places inside of you that await healing. People in your life illuminate wounds and pain and heartaches that are inside of you. Focus on healing what is inside of you and then you can be of assistance to others, always trusting in their guidance and wisdom and perfection.

Dear ones, trust that all is well, unfolding in Divine perfection and perfect timing. Don’t try to rush things. Relax, breathe and enjoy each moment with its gifts and blessings. A new day is dawning! Smile and let your hearts dance with joy. Turn your faces toward the sun and breathe the breath of life with me.
